A downloadable game for Windows
The studio is interested in prototyping an environment for a game made in Unreal Engine. The game consists of an open world setting with map regions covering several ecosystems and cities. Using the environment you built for the Unreal Environment Design assignment, add the following assets/functionality built out using Blueprints (as applicable):
- Collisions with environmental assets
- Enclosed areas with doors/entranceways that open as you get close to them.
- If doors don't apply, maybe have Meshes that move in some way when you touch them. Be creative with how you implement this.
- Assets that illuminate when you approach them.
- Bonus points for an automatic day/night cycle
- Engaging and dynamic sound
- Global background music/noise AND sound effects as applicable
- Collectables / props placed in the scene. Number of collectables collected should be reflected in a very simple UI (just a number is fine but more UI is also good).
